The PulteGroup West Florida Division recently came together for a special Built to Honor® Notes of Love event, filling the future homes of U.S. Army Specialist Ryan Heard and U.S. Army Sergeant Carson Shaw with heartfelt messages of gratitude, encouragement and support.
This year’s event marked a special first for the division. Ryan and Carson’s mortgage-free homes are being built side by side, meaning the two veteran families will soon call each other neighbors.
Before drywall is installed, Notes of Love gives PulteGroup employees, trade partners and community members an opportunity to write personal messages directly on the framing of a Built to Honor home. The words become a permanent part of the home and a lasting reminder of the appreciation surrounding each veteran and their family.
As construction continues, those messages will remain behind the walls of Ryan and Carson’s homes, carrying with them the gratitude of the community as the two families prepare to begin their next chapter as neighbors.
